Avoid single point of compression
Try to avoid putting too much pressure on the same position of the mattress for a long time, such as not always sitting on the edge of the mattress or placing heavy objects in the same position. If you need to place heavy objects on the mattress, you should try to spread them out to distribute the pressure evenly.
For example, do not place heavy luggage on the corner of the mattress for a long time, as this can easily lead to local deformation of the mattress.
Flip the mattress regularly
High-end mattresses generally need to be flipped and rotated regularly to ensure that all parts of the mattress are evenly stressed and reduce local wear and tear. It is usually recommended to flip the mattress every three months, swapping the head and feet; rotate the mattress every six months, swapping left and right.
For example, for high-end mattresses that can be used on both sides, they can be flipped seasonally, using the harder side in summer and the softer side in winter, while rotating regularly, which can double or even extend the lifespan of the mattress.
Keep it dry and clean
To prevent liquid from spilling on the mattress, if it is accidentally spilled, it should be immediately sucked dry with a dry cloth to avoid moisture seeping into the inside of the mattress, causing mildew, odor and other problems.
A waterproof mattress cover can be used to prevent liquid penetration and protect the mattress from stains and dust. At the same time, keep the bedroom well ventilated and avoid the mattress in a humid environment
